The last couple of weeks in Kathmandu were, well exciting and dull.. I helped out a certain Basque friend with a "precious stones" scam that he had gotten himself into.. We felt a little like vigilantes barging into a hotel room and "interrogating" the Indian culprit.. After acquiring all of his ID's, all the false paper work and photocopies of all the people that he had scammed in the last year with the amounts, ouch; we felt a little lighter.
His promise of returning the money the next days resulted in him disappearing.. Hopefully we put a stop in his evil way of gaining income...
Now I am on a beach called Palolem in the southern infamous Goa!! After an epic long train journey from the capital, Delhi, on the worlds largest train network.
41 hrs. of constant clickty-clack, clickty-clak. Two nights of almost sleep with all kinds of chaotic sights whisping by..
It was actually an essential incredible experience of India. The best way to travel this larger then you think country.
In my berth, in the sleeper class, was an interesting Ukrainian couple. He having traveled 12yrs throughout India and a certified chinese medicine doctor of psychology and she being and ex ballet dancer, who looked like she could have been familiar with another type of dancing..
An indian who owned an online gambling ring and a few others passing in and out..
To say the least just another beautifully chaotic experience that is India!
I am here for only a week, with my sister Anja and her boyfriend Ben arriving on Dec. 24 for a few days.
From here we travel on my birthday night to Mumbai, the capital of one of the worlds largest movie industries, Bollywood!! too partake in an indian/russian wedding and to celebrate New Years..
I will post some pics and stories as they develop..
Happy Solstice, Christmas, New Years and holidays to all..
Peace
